In this program, the teacher deals with topics related to medical and health: description of symptoms, vocabulary of the human body, conduct of a consultation... The first courses usually have as objective to better know the student and to allow the teacher to identify the needs of the student. The exchanges between you and the teacher on a targeted theme will allow you to develop automatisms, fluency, correct grammatical sentence structures and to enrich your vocabulary.
TEACHING METHODS
The English medical course program can be delivered via Google Meet or telephone. It will be possible to follow your classes at home or during your office lunch time. Google Meet has a significant advantage which is to be able to suit both people who are more visual than those who are more auditory. Indeed, the teacher can quickly provide explanations to the student by communicating them orally or in writing thanks to a shared file.
It is important to add that changes to the course schedule are possible, without penalty, with 48 hours notice. There is a study area that contains different learning tools. This space provides access to the course notes exchanged between you and your teacher. You can also discuss with your teacher your desire to do exercises outside of school hours to consolidate the concepts learned during the course. The latter will then send you your homework via this study area.
LENGTH OF the CLASSES
Global Lingua wants to develop flexible class schedules, so courses are given at the frequency and time most convenient for the student. This allows you to choose your class schedules according to your working hours or according to your ward at the hospital. Students generally choose to start the program with a 30-minute class to get used to conversing in English before taking one-hour classes.
OTHER COURSES
It is possible with Global Lingua to take other courses to improve your knowledge of English. You can take intensive courses to accelerate the pace of your learning, or take advanced courses in English. These classes are also offered by Google Meet or by phone.
