Discover our courses for the preparation of the DALF C1 and DALF C2 tests...
This program is designed for people who need to take the DALF C1 or DALF C2 to certify their level of French. People taking the DALF already have an advanced level of French.
The DALF, or Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française, is a diploma issued by the French Ministry of Education to certify the French language skills of foreign candidates. It is a professional language test that tests an advanced level of French: C1 and C2.
The DALF C1 test lasts 4 hours in total: an oral comprehension part of 40 minutes, a written comprehension part of 50 minutes, a written expression part of 2h30 and an oral expression part of 30 minutes (with 1 hour of preparation).
The DALF C2 has a different duration since it combines in the same test oral comprehension and expression (1 hour of preparation and 30 minutes of examination), then in another test written comprehension and expression (3h30).
Our teachers help students improve and verify their level of French, while optimizing their revision for the DALF. During the first class, they assess the student's level in order to better understand his/her needs. The teacher structures the classes around the student's weak points and gives them targeted exercises to prepare them before the exam. It is also possible to do DALF mock tests, in order to be ready on the day.
If you choose Global Lingua's online courses to prepare for the DALF test, you’ll be sure you have:
Our DALF preparation courses allow students to acquire the language level necessary to pass the test. Our goal? To develop our students' fluency and autonomy so that they are able to understand the content of a complex text, to communicate clearly with a native speaker, or to express an opinion in a precise manner. This way, they will be able to answer the oral and written questions of the DALF.
Preparation for the DALF can be done online via Google Meet or by phone, depending on the student's preferences and availability. Classes given by video call are recommended to quickly improve oral comprehension as well as written comprehension. Indeed, the teacher is able to show live documents via screen sharing, which is more interactive.
It is possible to cancel a class or change your schedule, without penalty, with 48 hours notice. In the study area of Global Lingua, you’ll find several pieces of information: your class schedule, homework assignments, and learning objectives. You can ask your teacher to give you homework in order to integrate the notions acquired during the lessons. You can also take mock tests of the DALF test in order to practice.
DALF test preparation classes are given at the frequency and time most convenient for the student. Typically, students choose to take 30-minute or one-hour classes, and then take longer classes when they feel comfortable.
With Global Lingua, you can also take courses to improve in a specific area of the French language: French conversation courses, legal French courses...
